Watch the service HERE. Cultivate Initiatives is a group of people that envisions communities that are safe, supportive, and full of opportunities. As a nonprofit organization serving East Portland and East Multnomah County, they empower individuals and communities through workforce development, housing and homemaking, and supportive sheltering. Caleb and others from the Cultivate Initiatives team will be joining us to discuss the idea of how we provide support, safety, and opportunity amidst the ruins, both the ruins of our world, personal lives, and communities. We’ll be discussing this topic through storytelling, personal experiences, and sharing our ideas for how we can do this better together. We hope that this talk encourages everyone listening to engage their own places of ruin and those around them.
