For more than 50 years, a “Charlie Brown Christmas” has graced our TV screens. In it, Charlie falls in love with the most pathetic little tree on the lot. “This little green tree needs a home,” he says. “I think it will be perfect. I think it needs me.” The animated classic offers us the opportunity to consider how an unwanted and unloved tree symbolizes the transforming power of universal love that accepts our imperfections, too. Rev. Robin Landerman Zucker preaching. This worship for all ages includes theatrical vignettes, acted by our Worship Leaders, a homily, carols, little angels, and uplifting music from Mary Reese and the Sunrise Choir, under the direction of Tyler Perez.
