Unjudge Someone

Watch the service HERE. In cities throughout the world, individuals are “checking out” real live people in a program called “Human Libraries.” The goal is to encourage us to engage with others in one-on-one conversations to break down stereotypes and the judgement that comes with focusing on the “cover” and not the “book.” What have participants gleaned from their Human Library encounters and what can we learn about why we judge others, sometimes just on the basis of how they look or our embedded scripts? As we experience a vicious election cycle of identity insults and assumptions, how can we examine our own unconscious biases and “righteous minds” about others? Rev. Robin Landerman Zucker, preaching with Worship Leader Tyler Perez. Music from Mary Reese and a Time for All Ages from Tara Toler.
