You are invited to a unique planting day: the first Miyawaki method tiny native forest in Gresham! The event will be Saturday, March 29, Noon at 625 SW Walters Drive. Planted for educational purposes on a conservation easement, this tiny native forest will always be available for the entire neighborhood of Gresham to visit and enjoy! The green space also includes a variety of large seating areas.
Join us for a fun day of easy planting native trees currently in small, one gallon pots and we’ll even provide the tools. They’re so easy to plant! If you can only stay to plant a few plants, let us know, so you can leave early if you have other commitments.
We have some snacks, drinks, and a light lunch for all. Environmentally motivating music from MHCC Orchestra and guitar singer/song writers will be virtually playing.
