On the UUA’s Article 2

From the Unitarian Universalist Church of Jacksonville:

At this year’s 2024 UUA General Assembly, congregational delegates will consider the proposed amendments to Article II, and by a 2/3 majority will vote to either adopt or reject them. Adoption of the amended Article II will initiate impactful changes to how we define ourselves as UUs, how we serve the religious and spiritual needs of our members, and how we conduct comprehensive justice-focused, community-driven justice advocacy options.

It is of utmost importance that congregations become educated about what is at stake and ensure that their delegates cast an informed vote to provide a path for Unitarian Universalism to follow in the future.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Jacksonville chose to share their congregation’s conclusions derived from an in-depth, comprehensive program of pro and con information made available to them.
